Substitutions!

The hardest part about eating better is substitutions! This picture is a dish a made with ground turkey, veggies and squash noodles. Everything you do should be in moderation, and what I mean by that is we all love pasta, but the noodles are a lot of carbs and tend to make you gain weight so go on and try squash noodles!

There are so many different ways to help you with better eating when you are feeling like having a snack refer to fruits and vegetables rather than a bag of chips or some candy. When you replace the bad with the good it gives you ample energy throughout the day and you begin to feel better with in yourself inside and out. Also, when you start off this way with replacing the little things you begin to notice how much easier it gets along the way.

I have some ideas and tips for you all when you are going grocery shopping buy lots of fruits and vegetables replacing any junk foods. You don’t have to stay away from breads but buy whole grain wheat instead of potato breads. When every you are cooking when you use oils use sunflower, extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil and please stay away from butter!
